Automata insecta

This was a part of an encyclopedia project I did last year showcasing a dystopian future with a mutated ecosystem. Automata Insecta are self-replicating robotic organisms guided by a decentralized hivemind AI. Lacking individual consciousness, they act as a unified intelligence that rapidly adapts to threats and resources, evolving real-time countermeasures that make them nearly impossible to eradicate.
